One of my roommates let me borrow a book that she just finished reading, so I have been in and out of the book this afternoon :). The book is called "Redemption" by Karen Kingsbury. Kingsbury is an amazing Christian Fiction author!
This evening, Jo fixed an amazing supper :). We had chicken, peppers, potatoes, and onions in a red sauce. She also fixed some rice as well.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday (aka hump day)!
Verses of the day:
Psalm 93:1 “The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.”
I was reminded of a praise and worship song called “The Lord Reigns”. If you want to listen to it, check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8z_3AuzUIk
We live in a world that is constantly changing. Jesus will soon be returning for his bride; I want to be counted in that number!
Proverbs 10:29 “The way of the Lord is a refuge for the righteous, but it is the ruin of those who do evil.”
Praise the Lord that we can take refuge in him J. I pray for the salvation of those who do not know Him, that they would put their hope and trust in Him. The Lord never changes, and he promises to provide and take care of you and me!
2 Timothy 2:22-23 “Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.”
What great words of advice!

My Utmost For His Highest – March 10th
Being an Example of His Message
Preach the word! —2 Timothy 4:2
“We are not saved only to be instruments for God, but to be His sons and daughters. He does not turn us into spiritual agents but into spiritual messengers, and the message must be a part of us. The Son of God was His own message— "The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:33 ). As His disciples, our lives must be a holy example of the reality of our message. Even the natural heart of the unsaved will serve if called upon to do so, but it takes a heart broken by conviction of sin, baptized by the Holy Spirit, and crushed into submission to God’s purpose to make a person’s life a holy example of God’s message.
There is a difference between giving a testimony and preaching. A preacher is someone who has received the call of God and is determined to use all his energy to proclaim God’s truth. God takes us beyond our own aspirations and ideas for our lives, and molds and shapes us for His purpose, just as He worked in the disciples’ lives after Pentecost. The purpose of Pentecost was not to teach the disciples something, but to make them the incarnation of what they preached so that they would literally become God’s message in the flesh. ". . . you shall be witnesses to Me . . ." (Acts 1:8 ).
Allow God to have complete liberty in your life when you speak. Before God’s message can liberate other people, His liberation must first be real in you. Gather your material carefully, and then allow God to "set your words on fire" for His glory.”

The Purpose Driven Life – Day 18
“EXPERIENCING LIFE TOGETHER”
Point to Ponder: “I need others in my life.”
Bible Verse: Galatians 6:2
“Real fellowship is so much more than showing up at services. It is experiencing life together. It includes unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, sacrificial giving, sympathetic comforting, and all the other “one another” commands found in the New Testament.” p. 138
God bless!
