I took this pic while I was getting an IV. They keep the hospitals 80 degrees inside...can you believe that?? So, I look a little hot in this picture ha. I thought I would make a funny face while taking the pic lol ;). Got another IV, to help me get my immune system pumped up.
I have also been working on a research paper some today that is due Friday. This is my last project to finish up the other class. I have enjoyed doing this research paper, because I am doing it on ACL tears, which I have seen a lot of and personally experienced one.
Well, I hope everyone is having a great MONDAY!!
God bless,
Megan

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God -- through Jesus Christ our Lord!— Romans 7:24-25 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...While marred by sin and death, human beings are still created in God's image and fashioned in our mother's womb by his Sovereign care. But we bump up against the hard reality of our weakness and failure. We cannot be like God in his most defining attribute, holiness. We sin. We rebel. We fail. We do what we know we should not do. We neglect the important matters of God's will and nitpick at nothing. With our words, we hurt and injure those we love. Who can save us from these bitter and limiting realities that we find in ourselves? Praise and hallelujahs go to Jesus when we trust him as our Messiah and Lord, since he can then save us from these evils and make us ready to live a life of blessing to others and to God.
My Utmost For His Highest:
The resounding evidence of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life is the unmistakable family likeness to Jesus Christ, and the freedom from everything which is not like Him. Are we prepared to set ourselves apart for the Holy Spirit’s work in us?
Our Daily Bread:
In some ways, the Christian home can be like a loving, spiritual scout camp. The Bible encourages parents to provide a positive growth environment for children in the home. Parents are exhorted to “bring [children] up in the training and admonition of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). “To bring up” refers to nourishing children by providing resources for their physical, mental, and spiritual needs. “Training” includes concern about all aspects of a child’s development. And “admonition” speaks of providing direction by well-chosen words uniquely suited to each child.
Let’s strive to make our home a place where loving discipline enables the children in our charge to reach their potential for God’s glory.
They are buds of hope and promise,
Possessed by Him whose name is Love;
Lent us here to train and nourish
For a better life above. —Crosby
What you put into your children’s hearts today influences their character for tomorrow.
