We made it safe and sound to Istanbul. We left last night at 11:00 p.m. and got in at 10:00 a.m. this morning. I was pretty exhausted from the trip because I was only able to take intermittent naps along the way. When we got to the hotel we ate a team breakfast and then had a few hours to chill until lunch. I caught up on some emails and stuff on my computer and then I took about an hour nap which was nice. After lunch we had a little bit more chill time and then we headed to the gym for practice. Practice today consisted of shooting which wasn't bad at all.
This evening we went to a Men's Euroleague game which was a lot of fun! I will post a video and some pictures when I get back to Samsun. Tomorrow we play against Galatasaray who is the number 2 team in Turkey right now for Women's basketball.
Here is the link to watch the game tomorrow live against Galatasaray at 7:30 a.m. EST which is 2:30 p.m. here in Turkey:http://www.tbftv.org/default.aspx
After the game we will be driving back, so I will try to write a blog when I get back to Samsun, but it probably won't be until Sunday because we won't be getting back until 4 or 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
It is bed for me soon! Gnight!
January 25th - "Jesus Calling"
LET MY LOVE ENFOLD YOU in the radiance of My Glory. Sit still in the Light of My Presence, and receive My Peace. These quiet moments with me transcend time, accomplishing far more than you can imagine. Bring Me the sacrifice of your time, and watch to see how abundantly I bless you and your loved ones.
Through the intimacy of our relationship, you are being transformed from the inside out. As you keep your focus on Me, I form you into the one I desire you to be. Your part is to yield to My creative work in you, neither resisting it nor trying to speed it up. Enjoy the tempo of a God-breathed life by letting Me set the pace. Hold My hand in childlike trust, and the way before you will open up step by step.
Psalm 73:23-24 – “Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”
