Sorry to report that we took a tough loss unfortunately with a 77-71 score. Man, we were right there the entire game, but couldn't come out with a WIN! Shew it is tough to swallow sometimes when losing by that close.
Tomorrow we have off and then it is back to the practice floor on Friday!
God bless,
Megan

Genesis 21/Luke 21
Genesis 21 – God always comes through doesn’t He? We see in this chapter that Abraham and Sarah give birth to a son and name him Isaac. That is one example of God’s faithfulness. Another example is when He takes care of Hagar and her son when they get stuck out in the desert without any water. God causes a well to form so that Hagar and her son do not die from lack of water.
Luke 21 – This chapter addresses two very important things. First, we must remember that the Lord chooses to bless all of us with different things. It is important that we don’t find ourselves comparing with other people, but rather that we make sure we are wise stewards with what the Lord has give us. The widow gave what looked to be a small amount of money (and was in reality), but she gave all she had and therefore it was like her giving more than the rich people were giving. Second, we must be on guard and ready for the Lord’s return. There are going to be a lot of trials, persecution, and other things that will take place and have already taken place before the Lord’s return. I love how the Lord says that if we look to Him, He will give us the right words to say. Luke 21:13-15 says, “But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me. So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!” May our hope, faith, and trust be placed in the ONE who is full of hope, faith, and trust.
