As we enter into the month of March soon, it is crazy for me to think that another month is coming to an end. I feel like time is flying by. I am so thankful that it is (means I am that much closer to home), but at the same time I also want to make sure that I am enjoying every moment.
I find out about my MRI results tomorrow. I am trusting that God knows what is best and plus He already knows what is going on in my elbow. I will be relieved when I find out what exactly is going on. I am ready to move forward with rehab or whatever needs to be done. This time of waiting has been good for me. I have really sought the Lord, and have felt a peace that is beyond measure. Today I was listening to a message from a pastor and he said something that I absolutely love!! He said, “PEACE is a person, and His name is Jesus”. I got to thinking about this statement and it made me so thankful. It is so true…peace does only come from the Lord. Are you searching for peace? I suggest you look up to Jesus!
TRUE PEACE = JESUS
"Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
Jesus is my everything. There are times when this is easier to say than others. When things are going great, how easy is it to forget or how easy is it to say? When you are on “Cloud 9” are you still taking time to thank the Lord for the many blessings He has bestowed on you? What about when the bottom falls out? Do we choose to then rely on Him because we realize that we really can’t do it on our own? I am so thankful that God is a God who is with us in the highs and lows of life. He is my constant!! He can be yours too and will be yours if you allow Him to be.
God is the all-powerful God!
I love these verses below: 1 Chronicles 29:10-15 says,
Then David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly:
“O LORD, the God of our ancestor Israel, may you be praised forever and ever! Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty.Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! We are here for only a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a passing shadow, gone so soon without a trace.
This world around us is fluctuating so much. We see wars going on, natural disasters, sickness, disease, and sin. The reality is, we live in an ever-changing world. The great news is though, we serve an unchanging God! So,although the world is changing, God never changes. Isn’t that awesome?
Malachi 3:6 - "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."
THANK YOU LORD! I will let you all know about the MRI results as soon as I get them tomorrow. I would covet your prayers!
Evening practice went well. After practice I had magnetic therapy on my elbow. I will have that treatment for the next couple of weeks to aid with healing.
Tomorrow it is game day here in Polkowice. We play at 6:30 p.m., which is 12:30 p.m. EST against LKS Siemens. I will let you know how the game goes.
My Utmost For His Highest:
"When we do something out of a sense of duty, it is easy to explain the reasons for our actions to others. But when we do something out of obedience to the Lord, there can be no other explanation-just obedience."
Verse of the Day:
Where then are the gods you made for yourselves? Let them come if they can save you when you are in trouble! For you have as many gods as you have towns, O Judah.
--Jeremiah 2:28
Have a great rest of your day!
