Total I had about 2 1/2 days at home, and it was GREAT :) I headed down to San Antonio yesterday and got in around 4:00 p.m. Some friends from church and their family came to the airport and picked me up...so AWESOME :) I saw Coach Hughes and Olaf at the airport as well. I went out to eat with the Franklin's for dinner which was great!
Last night I made a quick run to H.E.B to get a few groceries. This morning the whole team had physicals at 7:30 a.m., so it was a nice and early wake up call.
I do not have internet in my apartment until at least Monday, so I may or may not blog between now and then.
For those of you who have asked if I will continue this blog through the WNBA season, I will be. I may not blog as frequently as I did overseas, since I will be a lot busier here, but I will do my best to send a couple updates at least out a week.
Well, I am going to sign off here. I am sitting in Panera using their internet. In a few hours I am going to be going to church with Ruth and Becky (two of my teammates here in San Antonio). Thank you for all of your prayers while I was overseas in Turkey. It is so nice to be back in the States :)
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Never seek after anything other than the approval of God, and always be willing to go 'outside the camp, bearing His reproach' (Hebrews 13:13)."
TRAINING CAMP starts tomorrow!!! :)
God bless,
Megan
