Today has been a wonderful day here. I woke up and went in and did a workout. The rest of the team left around noon to fly to the game. It was game day here in Poland. This weekend is the Polish Cup here. We played Wisla today and ended up losing, but it was a close game. I was proud of the girls and how they hung in there and fought. Tomorrow we have off which is nice.
I got some time to type up more verses that have stuck out to me while reading through the book of Isaiah. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through the book. There is so much good stuff in that book! Check out some of the verses that stuck out to me below.
This afternoon I did some cleaning, reading outside (in shorts and t-shirt), and relaxing. This evening I walked to the store to get a few things, then I have just been relaxing the rest of the day.
A throw back from my college days with my sisters :) Came across this video today. So proud of my sisters and the women that they are - LOVE YOU!!!

Here are some more verses that I was able to finally type out from more of my reading from Isaiah:
Isaiah 40:8
“The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:28-31
“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 41:10
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:13
“For I hold you by your right hand. I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you’.”
Isaiah 42:5-6
“God, the Lord, created the heavens and stretched them out. He created the earth and everything in it. He gives breath to everyone, life to everyone who walks the earth. And it is he who says, ‘I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people, Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them’.”
Isaiah 43:1b-3b
“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; You are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
Isaiah 43:4b-5a
“…because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. Do not be afraid…”
Isaiah 43:10
“You have been chosen to know me; believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God – there never has been, and there will never be.”
Isaiah 43:13
“From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”
Isaiah 43:19a
“For I am about to do something new…”
Isaiah 44:2b
“Do not be afraid…”
Isaiah 44:8
“Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purpose for you long ago? You are my witnesses—is there an other God? No! There is no other Rock –not one!”
Isaiah 44:22
“I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”
Isaiah 45:3
“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—secret riches.”
Isaiah 45:7b
“I send good times and bad times. I, the Lord am the one who does these things.”
Isaiah 45:15
“Truly, O God of Israel, our Saviour, you work in mysterious ways.”
Isaiah 45:22-23
“Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no others. I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word: Every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess allegiance to me.”
Isaiah 46:4
“I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”
Isaiah 49:10
“I have refined you, but not as silver is refined. Rather, I have refined you in the furnace of suffering.”
Isaiah 49:17b
“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along paths you should follow.”
Isaiah 50:7
“Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.”
Isaiah 51:12
“I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?”
Isaiah 51:15-16a
“For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the seas, causing its waves to roar. My name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. And I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely in my hand.”
Isaiah 52:12b
“For the Lord will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind.”
Isaiah 53:3-12
“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrowsthat weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the LORD’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”
Isaiah 54:10a
“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain.”
Isaiah 55:8-9
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
Verse of the Day:
You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?--1 Corinthians 3:3
My Utmost For His Highest:
"Jesus has some extraordinarily peculiar sheep: some that are unkempt and dirty, some that are awkward or pushy, and some that have gone astray! But it is impossible to exhaust God’s love, and it is impossible to exhaust my love if it flows from the Spirit of God within me. The love of God pays no attention to my prejudices caused by my natural individuality. If I love my Lord, I have no business being guided by natural emotions— I have to feed His sheep. We will not be delivered or released from His commission to us. Beware of counterfeiting the love of God by following your own natural human emotions, sympathies, or understandings. That will only serve to revile and abuse the true love of God."
This is awesome!!
