Today we had two practices. Both practices went well :) Tomorrow we head to Turkey to play Fenerbahce on Wednesday. This will be our second Euroleague game of the season. I believe the game is at 8:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. EST). I am not sure if I will blog tomorrow or not since we will be traveling, and when we get there we also have a practice. I will keep you posted.
I hope you all have had a wonderful day today! Tomorrow we will be taking the jets to Turkey. We will first fly to Wroclaw to get our passports stamped and stuff, and then we will fly to Istanbul, Turkey. So, it is looking like it will probably be about a 3 1/2 hour plane ride from Wroclaw to Turkey.
Proverbs 21:30-31
“No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord. The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”
Praise the Lord HE goes before us in battle. Whatever we may face (sickness, trials, death, etc.), the Lord promises victory. We will encounter many trials and struggles down on this earth, but our true reward will be spending eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“Never allow yourself this thought, “I am of no use where I am,” because you certainly cannot be used where you have not yet been placed. Wherever God has placed you and whatever your circumstances, you should pray, continually offering up prayers to Him.”
Great reminder! Where we are at this very moment in our lives is where the Lord has placed us. Are you allowing the Lord to fully use you where you are? You never know whom you may come in contact with today, tomorrow, this week, or this year. God has a reason for everything we go through. He has a reason for why you are where you are right now. Remember to be a reflection of the Lord daily.
