Just a quick blog to let you all know I made it back to Samsun safe. We got back around 11:30 p.m. which isn't bad at all. I was glad to get back earlier than expected. On the way to Ankara it took us 6 1/2 hours, but on the way back it only took 4 1/2 hours which was awesome. We only stopped once on the way back to Samsun, whereas on the way there we stopped 5 times I think.
Today we lost again. We ended up losing by about 20 points. We have now officially completed pre-season tournaments. This weekend we will be playing in the Turkish Cup qualifying tournament. We are in a pool with Besiktas, Canik, and Kayseri. We will play all 3 teams, and then the top 2 teams from the pool will advance to the Turkish Cup which will be played in January.
It is hard to believe that after this weekend, the season starts the following weekend. We are still waiting on the arrival of the other American. I am excited for her to come for sure :).
When I got home from the road trip tonight I was able to touch base with my sisters and talk to my Gpa and Gma McNally a little bit - so FUN!!

IN ORDER TO HEAR MY VOICE, you must release all your worries into My care. Entrust to Me everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek My Face unhindered. Let Me free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in My Presence, allowing My Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you.
Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that I am sovereign over your life. Rejoice in this day that I have made, trusting that I am abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, thank Me in all circumstances. Trust Me and don’t be fearful; thank Me and rest in My sovereignty.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
We are off tomorrow. I have therapy in the morning, then I plan on doing a pool workout at some point. Besides that, my day will mainly consist of relaxing :)!!!
God bless,
Megan
