Moriah came down here on May 26th and left yesterday morning. She had planned this trip for awhile, so I know she was coming down! Molly on the other hand totally surprised me. She had told me that she would not be able to come down here until August. So, I just planned on not seeing her down here until then. Well, unbeknownst to me, Molly was able to switch a work day with one of her co-workers, and she flew down here and got in after our game on Friday! She was supposed to get in right before our game, and then she was going to surprise me by being at the game, but she wasn't able to (plane delay due to weather). After the game, I took Moriah to Cheesecake Factory for supper, and it is near the airport. So, while we were eating, a family from church went and picked up Molly at the airport and brought her to the restaurant. Moriah told me, "Meg, I am going to go to the bathroom"...well, when she came back, Molly was with her!! I was in total shock, and it was the BEST surprise ever!! I can't believe they were able to keep it a secret.
Since I have last written, we have played twice. We played New York on Friday, and then we played Seattle on Sunday. Unfortunately, we lost both of the games, but the great thing is, we can learn from the losses, and keep working. There is always a new day and it is still early in the season, so we have a lot more games too!!
On Sunday after the game, my sisters and I went over the the Franklin's house (a family from church). We had a blast playing with the kids and chatting with the parents...what a great family!
Praise: Olaf and Sandy welcomed Jayda Grace Lange into the world yesterday afternoon :)!!!!

Quotes from chapel this past week:
"First we make our habits, then our habits make us!"
"Life wouldn't be so difficult it w didn't think it was going to be so easy."
Quote from Oswald Chambers - My Utmost For His Highest:
"It is much easier to do something than to trust in God; we see the activity and mistake panic for inspiration. That is why we see so few fellow workers with God, yet so many people working for God. We would much rather work for God than believe in Him. Do I really believe that God will do in me what I cannot do?" June 1st entry
Verse of the day:
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." Proverbs 1:7

We head out to Indiana tomorrow and will be gone from San Antonio until Monday. We are playing the Indiana Fever on Thursday, and then we play the Connecticut Sun on Sunday. It should be a fun road trip :). I get to see a lot of family in Indiana (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.!!). Also, my parents are making the drive as well, so I am super pumped about seeing them. Even my brother's wife is making the trip down, so looking forward to spending time with her also.
*I posted a couple pics from this past week below!
