I am actually heading out tomorrow morning for Ankara (where I played last year). I will be catching a quick flight there tomorrow morning and then coming back Tuesday night. Coach has given us three full OFF days :). So, I may or may not be able to blog. For sure be looking for a blog on Wednesday though. I will do my best to touch base before then though.
P.S. Happy Birthday Brittany Campbell :)!!! Hope you have a great day. Also cheer on the Lady Flames tonight as they take on Presbyterian.

The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that you might always fear the LORD your God.— Joshua 4:24 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...God demonstrates his love to us because he is loving. God demonstrates his love to us because he knows we would be lost without it. God demonstrates his love to us because he wants to show his power to the peoples of the world. God demonstrates his love for us because he wants us to know his awesome might to save. God demonstrates his love for us so we will deeply respect, honor, and revere him.
My Utmost For His Highest:
We seem to think that God wants us to give up things! God purified Abraham from this error, and the same process is at work in our lives. God never tells us to give up things just for the sake of giving them up, but He tells us to give them up for the sake of the only thing worth having, namely, life with Himself. It is a matter of loosening the bands that hold back our lives. Those bands are loosened immediately by identification with the death of Jesus. Then we enter into a relationship with God whereby we may sacrifice our lives to Him.
Our Daily Bread:
If God’s Word guides your conscience,
let your conscience be your guide.
