Sorry I couldn't blog yesterday. I wrote a blog and then posted it and it never posted. I did it a second time and the same thing happened. Today it seems to be working again.
We had off yesterday which was really nice. I woke up early and went to church with one of my friends. It was great to be back in the Lord's house. There was a Christmas choir concert as well, so it was great to hear some Christmas music. After church I came back to the Asian side and relaxed. I took a nap, did some cleaning, and caught up with my family and husband.
The Lord has been teaching me continued patience over here. There have been some very interesting times so far since being here, but I can see the Lord carrying me through and His faithfulness I stand in awe of. With each experience I have had overseas, different challenges are presented, and with each challenge I see the Lord pruning me to be come a better person.
Life is not always easy, but the Lord promises He will see us through and it is in the times of difficulty that I feel we truly learn the most or are the most teachable. I am so thankful we have the opportunity to serve an UNCHANGING God. May we strive this week to find opportunities to share Him with others. It may not even be a verbal conversation that you have with a family member or friend but it could be a simple smile, hug, act of service, etc.
Love you all and pray that your week ahead is a prosperous one! It is back to the practice floor for us here. We practice this afternoon. This weekend we will be traveling to Samsun for a game.
God bless,
Megan
