Today was a good day. What a blessing we have to be able to see another day on this earth. I was reminded of the brevity of life, when I received a text from my sister this morning saying that one of our teammates from college had texted her, telling her that her dad was going into surgery this morning for a brain tumor that was found just a few days ago.
Life is too short to hold grudges and life is too short to live carelessly. How many of us walk around at some point in our lives with a chip on our shoulder? The reality is we have so much to be thankful for. Some of the biggest blessings we have come in the form of family members. Take the time to thank the Lord for what He has done in your life. We can't control how other people act to us or around us, but we can control how we act and what we say around others. I was struck with the importance of shining Jesus' light for the world to see it.
As we head into another weekend, may we ever be cognizant of how we are "living" on a daily basis.
God bless,
Megan
