I just wanted to let you know that I made it home safe and sound! It was quite the trip home. I left around noon in Israel, but got stuck on the plane for 2 hours before we took off because of air traffic control. I then had close to a 12 hour flight into Newark. Once in Newark, I had a short layover because of the delay in Israel, but then my plane going to DC was delayed because of the weather. I landed in Newark around 6:45 p.m. and ended up not leaving the airport until 11:00 p.m. Originally my flight was supposed to leave at 8:30 p.m. and get to DC at 9:30 p.m. So, I got into DC around midnight and by the time I got my luggage and picked up my rental car, it was going on 1:00 a.m. I decided to catch a little bit of sleep and take a shower at my brother's apartment and then I woke up this morning at 5:30 a.m. and got on the road by 6:00 a.m. to drive to Lynchburg. I made it back into the Burg today a little after 9:00 in the morning. I spent the next little bit unpacking and settling in. I am so thankful to be home!
I am looking forward to an evening with my parents. We are going out to eat soon and then going to relax some. I am also going to be watching some of the Women's Basketball National Championship game tonight...a match up between 2 undefeated teams!
I probably won't blog for the next few days. I will be relaxing for a few days and then heading to my boyfriend's this weekend to spend time with him and his family! Caleb has a birthday on Sunday as well!
Thank you for all of your prayers!!
