I hope you all have had a great start to the week!! Can you believe the month of October is finishing. I feel like I just got over here not too long ago, and tomorrow I am closing in on being here for 6 weeks. I feel like the time has been going by really fast.
I have had a blast having Britt over here for a few days. The time has flown by, and it is hard to believe she will be heading out on Thursday. I am glad it worked out that she was able to come over here and spend some time here in Poland.
Today we had two practices which went well. This morning consisted of shooting and lifting, and then this evening was a normal practice. Tomorrow we have the morning off, and then practice at 5:00 p.m. We will then be playing our third Euroleague game on Wednesday.
Well, it is bed time for me here!

Verse of the day:The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.— 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV)
"Thoughts on Today's Verse...The Bible repeatedly reminds us that we are in a spiritual war with forces that are strong, malicious, and evil (Ephesians 6:10-12). We should steer clear of every appearance of evil. We shouldn't involve ourselves in anything related to Satan and his work. But we also need to remember that our Lord is greater than Satan and all of his evil angels. He is faithful. He will not abandon us to our enemy. He will strengthen us and protect us from attack if we will let him!"
My Utmost For His Highest:
Never confuse the trial of faith with the ordinary discipline of life, because a great deal of what we call the trial of faith is the inevitable result of being alive. Faith, as the Bible teaches it, is faith in God coming against everything that contradicts Him— a faith that says, “I will remain true to God’s character whatever He may do.”
Wow!! What an awesome statement here. It is not always easy to live by faith, but when we choose to step out in faith He rewards us. "We walk by faith, not by sight" (II Cor. 5:7)
