On June 8th I headed to Ohio to begin about a 3 week trip. I helped out with the Cedarville Women's Team Camp June 10th-12th which was a lot of fun. This was my first time not playing a basketball game or not coaching at a camp, but rather reffing. Yes, I put on the zebra stripes for a few days. I gained a deeper respect for referees that is for sure!
On Sunday my boyfriend's cousin Jamie came to Xenia for a few days from Nashville. We had a blast hanging out together, and she was also able to meet my sisters for the first time. Some of her stay consisted of a 20 mile bike ride to Cedarville and back. We also went for a nice hot run one day that was pretty brutal because of the humidity. Then we finished it off with a night at Young's getting ice cream and playing some putt putt. Here are some pics from the weekend:
From there we decided to make a quick stop at our other grandparents house and then actually ended up at the ball park watching one of my cousin's kids play some softball. Here are a couple pictures of Mackenzie. She is getting so big!
I came back to Lynchburg yesterday, and will be here for awhile. Caleb is planning on coming to Lynchburg this weekend which will be fun! My next big road trip is heading back to Ohio next weekend for a wedding and to spend some time with family! Caleb will be going with me as well, so I am really looking forward to him being able to see where I grew up and also being able to meet family and friends.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead! Mine will consist of working out, running some errands, and spending time with my parents.
God bless,
Megan
