Today has been a much needed off day. What a blessing for sure to be able to have a TRUE day to relax and chill. I slept in some after staying up late to wash my clothes. I woke up and got some breakfast, then listened to Thomas Road's message from Sunday. I then went and got some groceries and I made a pasta bake for dinner tonight.
I was also able to tune into Liberty's convocation which was great! So refreshing to listen to fellow Believer's share their stories and challenge others to walk the walk.
I am really trying to stay relaxed and to enjoy every moment that the Lord blesses me with, playing a sport that I love, meeting new people, and yeah just being thankful for the easy times and the hard times. This season has been so refreshing from my last season and experience in Turkey and for that I am thankful. Are you asking the Lord to lead you "where your trust is without borders"? May we all be ever mindful of the cross and live in such a way that we are lifting the cross high for all to see. This doesn't mean necessarily shouting from the rooftops, it can simply mean living your life quietly and humbly in such a way that others see something different about you. We never know who we are going to come in contact with on a daily basis that is seeking and searching for THE TRUTH. We have an opportunity to lead them to the One who is the ultimate truth giver!
Be refreshed today and as you go into this weekend. Take time to stop and thank the Lord for the many blessing He has given you. As we wrap up the month of October and head into Thanksgiving, what a prime time to be THANKFUL! Thank your parents for their many sacrifices for you, thank your friends for their encouragement and support, thank your children for the blessing they are to you and to many others. We have so so so many things to be thankful for. Is it always easy to be thankful? No, but what good does it do when we sit around and sulk and say "woe is me". You may not be feeling the best, but you can still be thankful for a roof over your head. You may not have the car you want, but you can still be thankful for different methods of transportation.
I hope you all have a great weekend ahead! We play tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. which is 9:00 a.m. EST. Be sure to tune into the live stats or you can watch the game on TV as well. Check out the tv link and the stats link under "info on following games" tab on the website.
