We made it safe to Antakya! After 13 hours on the road we arrived. It has been a whirlwind the past few days. I left for Georgia Tuesday night around 11:00 p.m. and got back from there at 11:00 Wednesday night. Then, I practiced Thursday with the team, and hung out with my sisters for a few hours and then drove them to the airport to say bye to them. I then drove to town and got picked up by the team bus and left with them around 11:00 p.m. last night to drive through the night to come to Antakya today. We got here around noon, had about an hour to chill and then we ate lunch. After lunch, we had a few hours to chill and then it was time to head to practice. Practice consisted of shooting and walking through plays. We are all pretty exhausted, but thankfully we have tonight to recoup and get a good nights rest. We have breakfast in the morning, video, lunch, and then practice in the afternoon.
We play Sunday at 5:00 p.m. which is 10:00 a.m. EST. I will be sure to post the link for you all to watch the game if you want to on Sunday.
It is bed for me here soon! I just talked to my sisters a little bit ago and they made it safely to DC. They are going to be staying with my brother and his wife at least one night before making the trip back to the Burg. It is crazy to think that the month of November is coming to a close! WOW time flies. Speaking of time flying, today marks me being over here in Turkey for 3 months - amazing! I have 4 more weeks over here, and then i will be flying home to spend about a week with family and friends. I am looking forward to a little bit of relaxation and time with family - priceless! But until then we have some work to do - we have 6 games left before we head home - lets go Samsun!!
As some of you may know, our head coach of the team left, so our assistant coach is now our head coach. A lot has gone on this past week, but through it all the Lord has been faithful and has given me a peace about everything. We were also told we will be moving gyms as well, so we will have a much farther commute to our gym everyday.
Well, I hope you all have a great weekend!!
Here is to 29 days left until HOME :)

November 30th - "Jesus Calling"
PROBLEMS ARE PART OF LIFE. They are inescapable: woven into the very fabric of this fallen world. You tend to go into problem-solving mode all too readily, acting as if you have the capacity to fix everything. This is a habitual response, so automatic that it bypasses your conscious thinking. Not only does this habit frustrate you, it also distances you from Me.
Do not let fixing things be your top priority. You are ever so limited in your capacity to correct all that is wrong in the world around you. Don’t weigh yourself down with responsibilities that are not your own. Instead, make your relationship with Me your primary concern. Talk with Me about whatever is on your mind, seeking My perspective on the situation. Rather than trying to fix everything that comes to your attention, ask Me to show you what is truly important. Remember that you are en route to heaven, and let your problems fade in the Light of eternity.
Psalm 32:8 - The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you”.
