We were on the road for 5 days when we played Phoenix and then went up to Seattle. Unfortunately we lost to Seattle, but you can't win all of them. We are now gearing up for another big conference game against Minnesota on Saturday!
I also want to take the time to say Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there!! I especially want to tell my dad, that I LOVE YOU and am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to be your daughter.
Last week I finally made the transition and acquired a Texas driver's license. I had been meaning to get one for a while, but different things always came up. I guess it is only fitting that I have a driver's license from the State where I was born ;).
Tomorrow we will be taking pictures with our season ticket holders after practice...should be FUN :)
I am sorry that I am not writing in my blog as much as I did overseas, but my schedule here in the States so far has been very busy!
The last thing I want to say before getting into the "verse of the day", is that today I officially enrolled into a graduate degree program! I decided last year that I would take a year off, but I am now ready and excited to get a Master's degree. I am going to be getting my degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration online through Concordia University in Irvine, California.

Verse of the day:
Proverbs 23:17-19 "Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous for the fear of the Lord. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path."
These verses really stuck out to me today! The way our society is, it is so easy to get caught in the trap of "everyone is doing it, so I might as well too". We need to remember who we are serving!! When we realize that we are serving the Lord, we don't have to worry about not being in the "in crowd" or not fitting in. I encourage you to stay on the path!
Proverbs 23:22 "Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old."
Great words!!! We need to love and respect our parents. LOVE YOU Dad and MOm!!
