Gnight,
Megan
A short but quick blog to let you all know we lost our game tonight. It was a close game and we came up on the short end by 3 points. I need to get some sleep but will try to write more tomorrow because we have off.
Gnight, Megan

Hey All,
We had off yesterday and before I knew it the day got away from me! I have been busy doing different things. I went running yesterday and went to the grocery store. I also made some vegetable soup which was really good. Today we had practice. I slept in some and then went to the store to get a new carry on luggage piece. The one I brought over here from the states stopped working. The handle on it is stuck, therefore I cannot roll it and have to carry it. Tomorrow we head to the European side to practice and then we will pay on Sunday against Istanbul University at 4:00 p.m. which is 10:00 a.m. EST. I will be sure to let you know how it goes. God bless, Megan Hey All,
We won our game today! It is going to be a tight race to see if we make playoffs or not. We have 4 games left and since we won this game there is a 3 way tie Hey All,
Game day is tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. I won't be playing in the game tomorrow. We will be playing a later game at 6:00 p.m. which is noon EST. I will you know how the game goes. I plan on working out in the morning and relaxing some before heading to the game. Today was a good day here. We had practice early this afternoon. I took the metro home and stopped at the grocery store on the way home. I took a nap this afternoon which was nice also. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. God bless, Megan Hey All,
Today has been a good day here. I got to sleep in which was nice. We had an earlier practice this afternoon. I took the metro back home and enjoyed a nice little walk. As some of you may have seen on the news there was another bombing in Turkey...this time in Ankara. I played in Ankara my first year overseas, but this year I am living in Istanbul. My heart goes out to the Turkish people and country. The reality of it is, we live in a pretty messed up world. The only way we have any hope of reconciliation and peace is turning to the Lord. I wanted to share with you some notes from a message I listened to yesterday: Thomas Road Baptist Church “One Week To Live” Series Message #3 Charles Billingsley March 13th, 2016 The Suffering Mark 14
We must learn to live in willing submission even when our prayers seem unanswered.
6. Pray Submissively
I pray you all have a great week ahead. I pray also that we may be more mindful of going to the Lord in prayer throughout the day. We have 2 weeks and 6 days left of the regular season not that I am counting or anything ;). We have 5 games left of the regular season, and right now we are sitting in 10th place out of 14 teams still. We will have to win a few games in order to make the playoffs. We have practice tomorrow again in the early afternoon, and then we will play on Wednesday against Canik at 6:00 p.m. which is 12:00 p.m. EST (only a 6 hour time difference for the next 2 weeks). God bless, Megan Hey All,
We lost a close game yesterday against Botas. It was an unfortunate loss, but sometimes that happens in sports. Today we had lifting in the morning and then the rest of the day free. I plan on listening to a few messages online and then relaxing some. Tomorrow it is back to the practice floor for us. We also have a game on Wednesday, so it will be a short turnaround this week. We now have 5 games left of the season which is 3 weeks left :) God bless, Megan Hey All,
I just wanted to write a quick blog and let you know that we play tomorrow against Botas at 6:30 am EST. I will let you know how the game goes. A short blog tonight :) God Bless, Megan Hey All,
I was given a link to watch our game on Saturday from someone here in Turkey. We will be playing in Adana against Botas. Our game is at 1:30 p.m. here which is 6:30 a.m. EST. I will be sure to let you know how the game goes. The link below should work at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning in the States. Link: http://www.canlitvlive.tv/izle/trt-3-spor.html It has been a good day here. I slept in some, then we had an early afternoon practice. After practice I went grocery shopping and now I am sitting down writing my blog with a pot of chili I made on the stove. We leave tomorrow morning for Adana and will come back Saturday night. I hope and pray you all have had a great week :) May your weekend be filled with rest and relaxation. God bless, Megan Hey All,
Yay for hump day here! Today was a good day here. We had early morning lifting and then some chill time followed by a friendly game with a boy's team. I get to relax now which is really nice. Tomorrow we have an early afternoon practice and then I plan on relaxing and going to the grocery store. It is hard to believe we have 3 1/2 weeks until the regular season is finished. Today marks me being here for 2 weeks already since returning back from my break. The Lord continues to give me strength daily and for that I am so thankful. God bless, Megan Today has been a good day here. I was able to sleep in which was really nice. We then had practice this afternoon. It was nice to be able to relax this afternoon since we had an earlier practice. Tomorrow it is back to having 2 practices. We have lifting in the morning and then we are having a friendly game against a boy's team in the afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far! God bless, Megan |
