Time has been flying by for me over here since I got back after Christmas!
It is hard to believe I have been over here 56 days!! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time over here :)
I hope everyone had a great day today! The day for me flew by!!! We had two practices again today. Whenever we have 2 practices the day goes by really fast. Both practices went well today.
We only have one practice tomorrow as well as some film, so I will get to sleep in a little bit.
Good luck to the Lady Flames basketball team tonight as they take on Charleston Southern :)
Verses of the day:
Psalm 77:13 “Your ways, O God, are holy. What God is so great as our God?”
I was reminded once again of a song that I love!! I think the words are AMAZING and do a great job describing the Lord J!!!!!! I attached the link at the bottom of the song, so you can listen to it if you want to.
“Lord Your Holy”
Lord You’re Holy
Lord You’re Holy
And we lift You up
And magnify Your Name
Lord, You’re Holy
Lord, You’re Holy
And we lift You up
And magnify Your Name
VERSE 1
I look around and I see
All the works that Your hands have made
The awesomeness of You
And how Your love will never fail
Mere words cannot express what I feel inside
I can’t describe Your glory divine
But as a token of my love
This is what I’ll do
I lift my hands and cry holy
CHORUS
Lord, You’re Holy
Lord, You’re Holy
And we lift You up
And magnify Your Name
Lord, You’re Holy
Lord, You’re Holy
And we lift You up
And magnify Your Name
VERSE2
There’s not enough words that I can say
To tell you how much I appreciate
All the wonderful things You’ve given me
Your loving kindness
Your tender mercies
It’s my desire to praise You
And tell you how much I love You
You’re worthy of all the honor
Lord You’re worthy of all the praise
BRIDGE
I don’t know how
You can love me
How You could give me
So much mercy
You didn’t have to suffer and die for me
Way back on Calvary
But I just wanna thank you
I thank you
I thank you
I thank you

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
I think of the wonderful parents that the Lord blessed me to have! They did a great job training my siblings and me in the way that we should go. Thanks Mom and Dad!! I also want to thank my Grandparents as well, who had major influences on each of my parents J! Love you Grandpa and Grandma!!! And Ultimately I want to thank God for blessing me with such a great family!
1 Thessalonians 3:12 “May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.”
This is my desire and my prayer, that we as Christians might be able to love one another as Christ loved us! If we truly loved one another as Jesus loved us, there would not be quarreling, bickering, backstabbing, fighting, etc. Of course we are not perfect, and we will mess up at times, but my desire is to love others as Jesus loved us.

I have also been reading in "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers everyday. I really liked the devotional for today, so I thought I would share it with you all :)
My Utmost For His Highest – Feb. 22nd
THE DISCIPLINE OF SPIRITUAL TENACITY
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
“Tenacity is more than endurance, it is endurance combined with the absolute certainty that what we are looking for is going to transpire. Tenacity is more than hanging on, which may be but the weakness of being too afraid to fall off. Tenacity is the supreme effort of a man refusing to believe that his hero is going to be conquered. The greatest fear a man has is not that he will be damned, but that Jesus Christ will be worsted, that the things He stood for - love and justice and forgiveness and kindness among men - will not win out in the end; the things He stands for look like will-o'-the-wisps. Then comes the call to spiritual tenacity, not to hang on and do nothing, but to work deliberately on the certainty that God is not going to be worsted.
If our hopes are being disappointed just now, it means that they are being purified. There is nothing noble the human mind has ever hoped for or dreamed of that will not be fulfilled. One of the greatest strains in life is the strain of waiting for God. "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience."
Remain spiritually tenacious.”

How easy it is to throw in the towel at times, but here we are reminded to persevere!! Fight the good fight, and when you come out on the other side, it will have been worth it.
Have a wonderful evening!!
Today marked the half way point for me today :) I have been over here 8 weeks, and have 8 weeks to go (56 days)!!
God bless you all :)
Love,
Megan
