Today was a good day, but another early and busy day. I had to wake up early and go to the European side with my team manager to sign some documents to allow me to play this upcoming season. That took close to 4 hours, so by the time I got back to my apartment I ate some lunch really fast, and then it was time to head to practice.
Today we practiced in our game gym. Our game this week is postponed to Sunday. Practice went well today. I am definitely feeling it, and plan on getting to bed earlier tonight. An added blessing is that I get to actually sleep in tomorrow. This evening I have been hanging out with my sisters. We went to the mall and walked around for a little bit and then we went to the grocery store to stock up on food for the next few days.
Tomorrow afternoon we have practice at our game gym again, and then we will have the evening free. It has been a blessing to be able to have my sisters here. I look forward to posting more pictures as they get to experience Istanbul. The family from America (now living in Africa) left this evening to fly back to Africa.
I didn't take any pictures on my phone, but I hope to post some pictures of our adventures and eventually post a picture of my sisters and I with the Vanderwal family. They had a nice camera, so they captured some great moments.
Also, my sisters and I ventured out and made homemade lasagna today. Cooking overseas can always be an added adventure because ingredients can be different or not the same. I have to say it was really yummy. Below is a picture of our lunch today.
