I hope everyone has had a great start to the week!!
Today was a good day for me. I went this morning and got a good workout in. Then I came home and did some reading, took a nap, made some soup for the evening, and then it was off to film and practice. We had a great practice tonight which was awesome.
This evening I have been relaxing. I talked with my boyfriend's mom and cousin for a little bit and then I caught up with my sisters and dad.
Also, if you could remember a dear family that I am friends with! One of their son's broke both of his wrists yesterday, so prayers would be appreciated for quick healing. Also that he would get used to not being able to do normal day to day routines himself and be gracious to those who help him. God is good through it all!!

Genesis 14/Luke14
Genesis 14 – It is pretty amazing that Abram went after Lot to rescue him. Also, I think it is interesting that there were tar pits in the Dead Sea Valley. Having seen the Dead Sea myself, it makes the chapter come to life more.
Luke 14 – I absolutely loved Jesus’ lesson on humility. So true! May we all realize that ultimately we live on this earth to glorify our Lord…not ourselves. Luke 14:11 says, “For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Jesus finishes the chapter talking about what it “costs” to be a disciple. May we realize that daily we must put on our armor and stand strong in and for the Lord! The question is, “Are we willing to count the cost?” It is worth it indeed!!
