- VERSE OF THE WEEK:
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all those whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4
Hey All,
How has everyone's Saturday been? I hope great :) Mine has been busy, but good. I have to say, one of the highlights of my day was talking to a good friend. It was awesome to hear her share her heart and how the Lord has led her and guided her in different tough times in her life. It is so encouraging to hear and listen to people who you know are 100% sold out for the Lord. What an awesome conversation :) Thanks "coo-coo for cocoa puffs" (inside joke) :).
Tomorrow we have morning practice and then I will have rehab after practice. The team leaves tomorrow night to head up to Gydnia. I will be staying behind, and so I am going to go hang out with a family from church. We are going to be watching the Liberty game at 4:00 p.m. EST which will be 9:00 p.m. here. For the next 2 weeks there will only be a 5 hour time difference, because we do not change time until March 25th.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday :).
Here are some verses I wanted to share from my reading:
Jeremiah 50:34 – “But the one who redeems them is strong. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. He will defend them and give them rest again in Israel.”
Jeremiah 51:15 – “The Lord made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. With his own understanding he stretched out the heavens.
Jeremiah 51:18-19 – “Idols are worthless; they are ridiculous lies! On the day of reckoning they will all be destroyed. But the God of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including his people, his own special possession. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name.”
Jeremiah 51:56b – “For the Lord is a God who gives just punishment; he always repays in full.”
Lamentations 3:20-24 - “I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is they faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore I will hope in him.”
Lamentations 3:25-26 – “The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline.”
Lamentations 3:31-33 – “For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.”
Lamentations 3:55-57 – “But I called on your name, Lord, from deep within the pit. You heard me when I cried, ‘Listen to my pleading! Hear my cry for help!’ Yes, you cam when I called; you told me, “Do not fear”.”
Lamentations 5:19 – “But Lord, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation.”
Lamentations 5:21 – “Restore us, O Lord, and bring us back to you again! Give us back the joys we once had.”

My Utmost For His Highest:
Allow God to have complete liberty in your life when you speak. Before God’s message can liberate other people, His liberation must first be real in you. Gather your material carefully, and then allow God to “set your words on fire” for His glory.
Have a great evening everyone!
Gnight,
Megan
