After the Bible Study, I read for a little bit and then took an hour nap! Practice tonight went well, we did quite a bit of running (did some suicides), but we all survived.
Coach told us tonight that they are bringing in another American player. They are not going to get rid of anyone. You are only allowed 4 foreign imports on the roster for each game, so he said that one of us will have to sit out each game. He said he will determine who will sit out each week, depending on the match ups and such. Fenerbahce who we played on Saturday had 2 Americans sitting in the stands during their game, because they have 6 foreign imports. Coach does not know who they will bringing in, but it looks like they may sign a player next week. We only have ten games left, so by the time the girl comes we will be down to 8 or 9. I pray that whoever comes in is able to make a smooth transition onto our team!!
Prayer Requests: One of my teammates Berrin, is getting surgery tomorrow on her knee. She tore her meniscus, so she will be getting it repaired. I also ask your prayer for Lindsay. She sprained her ankle about 3 weeks ago, and still has pain, so I pray that she would be able to recover back to her normal self with time!!
Smooth transition for the new member on our team.
That the light of Jesus would shine bright!!!
Verses of the day:
Psalm 57:10 “For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.”
Romans 2:6-7 “God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.”
Proverbs 2:1-5 "My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you LOOK for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God."
Have a blessed rest of the day!!
