I just wanted to let you know that we won our game tonight!! It was a close game throughout, but we pulled out the victory :).
It was nice to start the season out with a win. Tomorrow we have off and then we practice Monday night at 6:00 p.m. Oh and we also have language school on Monday as well.

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 5:21-23
“For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes. An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him. He will die for lack of self-control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness."
What a great verse. A great reminder to us, how sin can capture us, and when it does it can be very hard to break free from. We are doomed to despair when we are sinning. But, when we repent of our sin God is faithful to bring us into His fold and shelter us.
My Utmost For His Highest:
“We have all experienced times of exaltation on the mountain, when we have seen things from God’s perspective and have wanted to stay there. But God will never allow us to stay there. The true test of our spiritual life is in exhibiting the power to descend from the mountain.”
What a great reminder to us! It is easy to be full of joy and excitement when we are “on the mountain”. How do react when we come down from the mountain? Our attitude must be steady and consistent in all phases of life. It is not easy to do, but something we can work towards.
