Blog from today:
Hey Hey,
We made it to Ankara safely. We left our apartment at 5:30 a.m. and got to Ankara around 12:30 p.m. It was a great drive, and we didn't have any problems of any kind coming which was nice. On the way to Ankara we stopped for breakfast, and then when we got to Ankara we ate lunch at our hotel. After lunch we had a few hours of chill time in the hotel and then we headed to practice. Practice was just getting some shots up, and then we went to the mall as a team and hung out there. I met up with a friend that I have known since playing in Ankara, Turkey my first season overseas. We went to Starbucks and we were able to chat for a few hours which was awesome!
This evening we had team dinner, and then the rest of the evening we have been able to relax. I am excited, because I get to sleep in tomorrow which is awesome!! We have breakfast at 10:30 a.m. and then leave at noon to watch some film and then head to the gym for the game. Tomorrow we play against TED Ankara at 2:00 p.m. which is 7:00 a.m. EST. It will be a battle that is for sure. I will let you know how the game goes. Tomorrow's game will not be on TV, but you can follow the live stats at this link below:

Shout out to my good friend Juliana and my brother for completing some intense semesters in their studies. Juliana is in Physical Therapy school and my brother is in PA school. Also a shout out to my good friend Brittany who completed a semester's worth of rotations for medical school. She only has one more series of rotations before she will start her residency!! So proud of all of you for your hard work, but most importantly the women and man of God that you are!! Keep going strong :) "Audience of One"
God bless,

TAKE TIME TO BE HOLY. The word holy does not mean goody-goody; it means set apart for sacred use. That is what these quiet moments in My Presence are accomplishing within you. As you focus your mind and heart on Me, you are being transformed: re-created into the one I designed you to be. This process requires blocks of time set aside for communion with Me.
The benefits of this practice are limitless. Emotional and physical healing are enhanced by your soaking in the Light of My Presence. You experience soaking in the Light of My Presence. You experience a nearness to me that strengthens your faith and fills you with Peace. You open yourself up to receive the many blessings that I have prepared for you. To become a cleansed temple of My Holy Spirit, who is able to do in and through you immeasurably more than you ask or imagine. These are just some of the benefits of being still in My Presence.
Ephesians 3:20 – “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

REST IN ME, MY CHILD, forgetting about the worries of the world. Focus on Me—Emmanuel--and let My living Presence envelop you in Peace. Tune in to My eternal security, for I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you live on the surface of life by focusing on ever-changing phenomena, you will fin yourself echoing the words of Solomon: “Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless!”
Living in collaboration with Me is the way to instill meaning into your days. Begin each day alone with Me, so that you can experience the reality of My Presence. As you spent time with Me, the way before you opens up step by step. Arise from the stillness of our communion and gradually begin your journey through the day. Hold My hand in deliberate dependence on Me, and I will smooth out the path before you.
