Here is a picture of me all bundled up for the cold weather. No, it isn't too cold here yet, but it is in the 30's here.
Not a lot to report here. I had morning practice, then relaxed, ate lunch, took a nap, listened to Liberty Convocation and then had night practice. Hard to believe another day has come and gone.
Tomorrow we have the morning off, so I am going to sleep in and then we have night practice.
Last night I stayed up later to listen to TR630's church service and then I got woken up at 5:00 a.m. to my fire alarm going off. I should preface it by saying everything is okay :). I was a little startled when I heard it going off, but come to find out it was a malfunction of some kind. A guy came today and fixed it, so hopefully it doesn't happen again.
I hope everyone had a great start to their week!
I also want to give a shout out to Kyra Cline!!! Happy Birthday :) I hope you have a wonderful day.
Verse of the Day:
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.— 2 Thessalonians 1:3 (NIV)
When was the last time you found a new brother or sister in Christ and told that precious person all the things they were doing right? Don't you think that's too long, and that you should let them know today? Let's be more committed to encouraging and affirming others who are in Christ as well as giving thanks to God for them.
My Utmost For His Highest:
"We can all see God in exceptional things, but it requires the growth of spiritual discipline to see God in every detail. Never believe that the so-called random events of life are anything less than God’s appointed order. Be ready to discover His divine designs anywhere and everywhere."
So true!! I think at times it is easy to take for granted the little things in life. The reality of it, God is in every single aspect of our lives. He created us, so that alone shows that He is involved. If it were not for Him, we would not be down on this earth. Do you ever wonder why certain things happen? I know I do! But it is great to know that “the so-called random events of life are anything less that God’s appointed order”.
