The picture above is us before we dug in to the food :) I also posted a picture below of a more up close shot of the turkey. The turkey was stuffed with rice and herbs, and then we also had salad to go along with the veggies on the tray.
Not too many people this Thanksgiving can say they had some turkey in Turkey ha :) I hope you all have a blessed day today with family and friends. Regardless of whether you are able to be with family or not, reflect on things you can be thankful for. The Lord has blessed us all with more than we ever deserve!!
What I am thankful for?
Botas (my team) for hooking my roommate and I up with a Thanksgiving meal...you rock!!
Tomorrow we have one practice and then watching some film. Should have the evening to relax some since we practice at noon.
Gnight!
Megan
Verse of the Day:
Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.— Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Everything! All! No matter what we say, no matter what we do, it is to be offered as a gift of thanks to God with Jesus' name, power, and honor attached! This makes all of life our worship and thanksgiving to God. There's no such thing as going to worship -- if we live, if we talk, if we act, it is worship and should always involve thanksgiving. So how has your worship been lately?
My Utmost For His Highest:
Most of us are not consistent spiritually because we are more concerned about being consistent externally. In the external expression of things, Paul lived in the basement, while his critics lived on the upper level. And these two levels do not begin to touch each other. But Paul’s consistency was down deep in the fundamentals. The great basis of his consistency was the agony of God in the redemption of the world, namely, the Cross of Christ.
Our Daily Bread:
When we consider all God’s gifts
And all that we possess,
A grumbling mood of discontent
Gives way to thankfulness. —Sper
Gratitude is a mark of godliness.
