Yay for getting through hump day :) What a blessing to be getting through another week on this earth. What kinds of things have you seen the Lord's hand on this week in your life? The picture above is a picture I took while riding on a metros from the European side to the Asian side. I couldn't help but stop and thank the Lord for painting an incredible display of His beauty.
Today was busy here. We left at 11:30 a.m. and drove to the European side to play against Istanbul University. It took as an hour and 45 minutes without traffic, so I knew that coming back at rush hour would prove that it would take much longer than that. I decided to take the metro bus back with one of my Turkish teammates to beat some of the traffic. I was able to make it home in 2 hours and 15 minutes whereas the girls who stayed on our team bus took much longer to get home.
The game today was a friendly game, so it went okay. Friendly games are never like real games that is for sure.
Tomorrow we go to our game to practice since we play there on Saturday. It will be nice to sleep in and then to also not have a 2 hour commute to our gym.
God bless,
Megan
