What a blessed day today! We had an early morning recovery practice which went well and then Caleb and I headed to Jerusalem to see some sights and hang out there. We had a great time checking out Mt. Scopus, the Garden of Gethsemane, Mt. Zion, and the Old City.
We ended the day with dinner at Soho which is a really great restaurant in Rishon. We came home and prepped for Shabat dinner tomorrow night which included making dessert (fruit pizzas) and cutting up the ingredients for the chili that will be made tomorrow. We finished out the evening by going to a cafe and sharing a delicious brownie with ice cream.
Tomorrow we have off, so we are headed to see Masada as well as the Dead Sea! It is going to be a lot of fun!!
Oh and a shout out to my friend Joy...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
God bless,
Megan
Reading for today:

Genesis 37/Acts 13
Genesis 37 – What an incredible story about Joseph. Joseph was abandoned by his brothers and yet God was faithful and kept him alive despite being sold for 20 pieces of silver.
Acts 13 – This chapter is phenomenal! It really breaks down the simplicity of the gospel and shows that it is for ALL who are willing and open to receive it.
