Today was a busy day for me! I had lifting this morning at 8:30 a.m., then shooting after that. I got home around 11:15 p.m. after stopping by the grocery store on the way home to get a few things. I took a nap this afternoon for about an hour, then it was time to walk back to the gym for our second practice. Practice tonight went well! We did a lot of different drill work and then before you knew it, practice was done.
I am excited that tomorrow I get to sleep in :) We only have one practice tomorrow and then we have a short meeting after practice to start preparing for Istanbul University.
What I am thankful for?
November 2nd - Today I am thankful for my immediate family. I am thankful for the Lord blessing me with wonderful parents. I love you Dad and Mom so much!! You both have been amazing role models for my siblings and me to be able to follow. Thank you for all you have done and all you do :). I also want to give a shout out to my siblings. First off my brother Zeb. The Lord could not have blessed me with a better brother than you...you ROCK. To my sisters, Mor and Mol, I am proud of you and love you so much. It has been awesome being able to share life with both of you. Also, I want to thank the Lord for allowing my brother and his wife Amy to meet. Amy it has been awesome getting to know you, and I count you as one of my sisters as well. I LOVE you all, and I am looking forward to seeing you at Christmas!!

Verse of the day:
You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.— 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...We've been picked to be on God's team and we were picked first! We have an important role to play in the unfolding of the world's history. We're here to declare God's praises to those who don't know him, so they can find his marvelous light and leave their world of darkness.
My Utmost For His Highest:
The Lord does not give me rules, but He makes His standard very clear. If my relationship to Him is that of love, I will do what He says without hesitation. If I hesitate, it is because I love someone I have placed in competition with Him, namely, myself. Jesus Christ will not force me to obey Him, but I must. And as soon as I obey Him, I fulfill my spiritual destiny. My personal life may be crowded with small, petty happenings, altogether insignificant. But if I obey Jesus Christ in the seemingly random circumstances of life, they become pinholes through which I see the face of God. Then, when I stand face to face with God, I will discover that through my obedience thousands were blessed. When God’s redemption brings a human soul to the point of obedience, it always produces. If I obey Jesus Christ, the redemption of God will flow through me to the lives of others, because behind the deed of obedience is the reality of Almighty God.
Our Daily Bread:
Are you limiting your kindness to the ones you deem worthy? As followers of Jesus, let us find ways to show neighborly kindness to all people, especially to those we have judged as unworthy.
How many lives shall I touch today?
How many neighbors will pass my way?
I can bless so many and help so much,
If I meet each one with a Christlike touch. —Jones
Our love for Christ is only as real as our love for our neighbor.
